Yazid Boutejder is originally from Morocco. After finishing his studies at the University of Washington with a BS in Informatics, he started working for several startup companies in Seattle, WA, USA as Network Engineer. Throughout the years, Yazid gained an extensive knowledge in IT Infrastructure, SaaS (Software as a Service) and IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service). Yazid is currently a Senior Solutions Engineer with Internap Network Services Cop, http://www.internap.com/ where he architects data center solutions, private and pubic cloud infrastructure (OpenStack/ VMware/Xen), CDN (Content Delivery Network), IP acceleration and route optimization/intelligence for entities that range from mid size to fortune 100. Yazid also collaborates closely with internal R&D Engineering teams regarding product enhancements and new technologies.
Yazid is also involved in civic work at a local community level. He has served as a vice president of WAMA (Washington Moroccan Association) for four years (2006-2010) and is currently a board member. He is also a member of the solutions committee at United WAY (http://www.uwkc.org/) where he works with a team to evaluate programs presented by local non -profit organizations seeking funding from United Way.
