The goal of SASTA is to connect Arab scientists around the world to collaborate to advance science and technology in the Arab world and for humanity in general.
Today we are facing the CoVid19 crisis and we are experiencing strange new times. This warrants from us as a network to reflect and collectively think what can we do to serve these goals. This is also an opportunity to introduce change into the world since what is impossible is today possible.
We are working together with a mindset and within a framework of what can we do to serve SASTA’s goals as individuals and champions of science. Each member thinking within their own circle what can they offer and what can they do. The principle is that our actions will speak for us.
SASTA is conducting a series of virtual meetings to brain storm ideas.
The ideas will range across a broad spectrum from providing a place to convene, share, test ideas and get advice on one hand to more concrete projects and creating sysem change on the other and everything in between.
As the ideas mature through multiple discussions each person who started an idea can create an action group.
SASTA will serve as the umbrella for everyone.
Our members are diverse geographically and gender and age and specialties.
